ABOUT

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Boruch Edgar is a clarinetist and saxophonist playing Jewish music to audiences throughout Southern California.
Boruch has been performing with and leading ensembles for nearly 20 years, playing all styles of Jewish music, from klezmer, chassidic, yeshivish, Carelebach, Chabad and Israeli to jazz, avant-garde and original compositions.
Boruch studied clarinet performance with Julia Heinen and Mark Sowlakis and jazz improvisation and arranging with trumpeter Ray Brown.
